- What is Tawrio?
- Tawrio is an AI-powered procurement platform built for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the Middle East. It automates supplier outreach, extracts quotes from emails using AI, and provides a side-by-side comparison dashboard so teams can make faster, data-driven purchasing decisions.
- How does Tawrio automate procurement?
- Tawrio sends RFQ (Request for Quote) emails to your supplier list on your behalf, then uses AI to read the replies, extract pricing and terms, and display everything in a structured comparison table — without manual data entry.
- Which countries does Tawrio support?
- Tawrio primarily serves businesses in Oman, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. Our team is based in Muscat, Oman, with broader GCC coverage.
- Does Tawrio support Arabic?
- The Tawrio website is available in English and Arabic. The application interface is currently in English, and you can run procurement in any language with your suppliers. Full in-app Arabic support is on our roadmap.
- How does Tawrio extract quotes from emails?
- Tawrio's AI reads incoming supplier reply emails and identifies pricing, lead times, currencies, and other key terms. It then structures this data into a standardised format for comparison — regardless of how each supplier formatted their response.
- How much does Tawrio cost?
- Tawrio is in early access. Book a demo and our team will set up a workspace for you; pricing is shared during onboarding. A trial is available on request — just ask at support@tawrio.com.
- How long does it take to set up Tawrio?
- Most businesses are up and running within a single day. Setup involves connecting your email, uploading your supplier list, and configuring your first RFQ template — our team assists throughout.
- Can I import my existing suppliers into Tawrio?
- Yes. You can upload your existing supplier contacts (CSV or manual entry) and Tawrio will immediately start reaching out to them on your behalf.
- What email service does Tawrio use?
- Tawrio can send outreach emails through your existing business email account, so replies land in your inbox and communication stays on your domain.
- How does Tawrio compare quotes?
- Tawrio presents all supplier responses in a single comparison table with normalised pricing in your local currency (OMR, AED, SAR, or QAR). You can sort by price, delivery time, or any other factor and award the purchase order directly from the dashboard.
- Is my data secure with Tawrio?
- Yes. Your data is hosted in the EU and encrypted in transit and at rest, with role-based access and tenant isolation. Tawrio does not share your procurement or supplier data with third parties, and your content is never used to train AI models.
- Does Tawrio handle purchase orders and invoices?
- Yes. Once you pick a winner, Tawrio generates a branded, numbered purchase order, routes it through your approval chain, and sends it to the supplier. When the invoice arrives, Tawrio reads it, matches it to the PO and delivery, and routes it to finance for approval and payment — flagging any disputes automatically.
- Who on my team can use Tawrio?
- Tawrio is built for teams. It supports distinct roles — admins, managers, procurement team members, finance, and read-only viewers — so the right people can raise RFQs, approve purchase orders, approve invoices for payment, or simply review the record, each with the right level of access.
- What happens after I pick a winning supplier?
- Tawrio carries the deal through to the end: it issues the purchase order, routes approvals, lets the supplier confirm delivery, then reads and matches the invoice and routes it to finance for payment — with every step captured for audit.
- Does Tawrio support multiple currencies?
- Yes. Tawrio supports Omani Rial (OMR), UAE Dirham (AED), Saudi Riyal (SAR), and Qatari Riyal (QAR), with cross-currency normalisation for multi-country procurement.
- Can Tawrio work for businesses in Oman?
- Absolutely — Oman is our primary market. Our team is based in Muscat and we have direct experience with Omani supplier networks and business practices.
- What makes Tawrio different from traditional procurement methods?
- Traditional procurement relies on manually writing RFQ emails, chasing supplier replies, and copying data into spreadsheets. Tawrio automates all of this — reducing procurement cycle time by at least 50% and reaching 3× more suppliers per request.
